Adverb is a word that modifies a verb, an adjective, or an adverb. Adverb of manner is an adverb that modifies a verb, helps us to identify the way in which someone / something’s being/ doing, the way he/she kooks or sounds.

Example :

  1. How does Ribna drive ? She drives carefully.
  2. Is he ill ? Yes, he is seriously ill.
  3. How is the weather ? The weather is too bad.
  4. How do they play the game? They play the game very bad.

Adverb of manner are usually formed by adding suffix – ly to the adjectives.
